Dear Colleagues,
We are delighted to invite you to the 10th NOVO symposium in Reykjavík November 10th-11th 2016. The theme of the symposium this year is "Sustainable healthcare through professional collaboration across boundaries.
We invite you to submit your abstract according to theme and topics of the NOVO symposium 2016:
1. Patient safety and quality of care
2. Wellbeing at work and work engagement
3. Teamwork and work environment
4. Management and leadership
5. Performance management and productivity
6. Methodology and measures on changes in care and work environment
Other topics are also welcome as long as at least two aspects of the NOVO-triangle are included. Priority will be given to papersincluding work environment issues.
Instructions for authors
The abstract should be in English with a maximum of 350 words apart from title, authors and affiliations, and should contain:
1.Title, names of authors, name and email of presenting author bolded, affiliations of authors with indications in the same order.
2. Introduction, Material and methods, Reuslts, Conclusions.
3. Tables or figures are not accepted, nor citations to references.
4. The title should not have abbreviations and in the text abbreviations should be spelled out and explained the first time they are used.
Presenters are asked to indicate whether they prefer an oral- or a poster presentation. However, the scientific committee attains the right to decide. The abstract should be submitted as a Word (or rtf) file, electronically to novo@ver.is with "Abstract NOVO" in the subject line no later than September the 1st 2016. The scientific committee retains the right to decline submitted abstracts if they do not fulfill the above criteria, or general scientific standards. Further information concerning presentations will be provided upon acceptance no later than October 10th 2016

Conference Fee
420 € (ISKR 60.000) for Early bird registration and 445 € (ISKR 64.000) after that.
The fee includes coffee, lunches, dinner and social program.
